Whether you're fancying a quiet bite, celebrating a birthday, University event to promotion at work, City Restaurant is one of the best restaurants in Edinburgh to be. We are in the Old Town and ideally located for Edinburgh's nightlife.

"My colleagues and I frequented City Restaurant often during our 5-day stay in Edinburgh from March 18th until the 23rd of March. This restaurant became our home away from home as everything about this establishment was perfect. The servers were kind and courteous as were the cooks. The menu is splendid with a variety that will appeal to all tastes. The food is perfectly prepared and presented and the prices aren't going to leave you poor. Thank you to all the staff at City Restaurant for making our first stay in Edinburgh so memorable!"

"I visited the restaurant on Monday 27th June with my husband and 3 kids, 14months, 5 and 10 year old. And we all LOVED it!!!My hubby stated on his facebook that it was the best fish supper he'd had in years! He even took a photo of the plate to remember it by! The kids meals were tasty and filling and perfectly priced too. And the burger I had was sooo tasty - was jealous of hubby's fish tho!!

The waiter and waitress who both helped serve us were pleasant and very helpful and nothing was too much trouble - even a pile of tired and wound up kids soaked to skin from the rain!

The restaurant was clean and tidy, even the loo is worth a mention! I cant say enough good things about our meal and cant wait to come back! See you again soon!""
